Riting Myth with Dennis Patrick Slattery, Ph.D.

An interesting and informative Friday night as Phoenix Friends of C.G. Jung hosted a lecture by Dr. Slattery on story, the classics and our need for connection with our mythic stories.  We learn about our own stories by reading the classics.  ”The soul is mimetic, it wants - and feeds off imitation.”   Engaging your story, your myth organically allows something else to come.  Dr. Slattery will spend tomorrow guiding participants in exercises of writing and riting our stories.  As a therapist and believer in finding and understanding ourselves through myth, through traveling our stories, I look forward to sharing this time with Dr. Slattery and fellow travelers.                                                            www.PhoenixFriendsofCGJung
